Just saw the news on the new Bing Crosby Christmas collection, and that got me thinking about how the DVD companies save some BIG releases for the end of the year. Well. That used to be in the good old days before streaming. Anyway, do any of you want to take some guesses on what could be some classic television box sets that come out this late fall?
If I were Time/Life I would buy the rights to the CBS shows such as Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Beverly Hillbillies, Pettocoat Junction, and release a huge Boxed set that would include the unreleased seasons with new extras.
Another series that could stand a boxed set would be St. Elsewhere.
What do you guys think?
